Character Backstory
Raised by the Kojin merchant Jiraiya after being orphaned, Pikachu Capritaurus grew up in Sui-no-Sato, valuing both material and spiritual treasures. When his adoptive father and others were kidnapped, he vowed to become powerful enough to rescue them, leading him to Limsa Lominsa to train as an Arcanist.
Later, he mastered the arts of the Summoner and Red Mage, founded his own Free Company, and eventually rescued his Kojin family. His adopted father welcomes guests inside the entrance of the FC house. He also writes novels inspired by his adventures and the cultures of Eorzea.
Goals and Ambitions
Pikachu Capritaurus aims to continue growing as a leader of his Free Company, exploring deeper magical knowledge, and promoting understanding between different cultures. He hopes to pen a bestselling novel series that might one day rival the tales of legendary heroes of Eorzea. Moreover, he seeks to find personal fulfillment and love that complements his adventurous and romantic spirit.

Backstory!
From Orphan to Apprentice: A Tale of Loss and Discovery in the Ruby Sea
In the serene depths of the Ruby Sea, within the hidden village of Sui-no-Sato, a Lalafel named Pikachu Capritaurus found a family among the Kojin. Orphaned in his earliest years, he was rescued by a wise and kind-hearted Kojin merchant named Jiraiya, who recognized the child's potential and named him Pikachu, seeing in him a vibrant spark akin to lightning. Under Jiraiya's guidance, Pikachu grew up appreciating both the material and spiritual treasures of the world, grounded in the balanced teachings of his adoptive father.
As Pikachu approached his 21st year, a shadow fell over his tranquil underwater home. A notorious Free Company, driven by greed for the mystical artifacts guarded by the Kojin, raided Sui-no-Sato. In the chaos, Jiraiya and several other villagers were taken hostage, spirited away to an unknown location near one of the Eorzean city-states. Devastated yet determined, Pikachu vowed to rescue them. Realizing he needed to gain strength and allies, he left for Limsa Lominsa, the city known for its formidable Arcanists and strategic location by the sea.
Rising Through the Ranks: Pikachu’s Journey from Arcanist to Leader
Upon reaching Limsa Lominsa, Pikachu immersed himself in the study of Arcanima, quickly advancing to become a Summoner, harnessing the powers of egi to aid him in his quest. His journey through Eorzea led him to learn the arts of the Red Mage, mastering both rapier and magic, finding a perfect balance that reflected his upbringing among the Kojin. His dual prowess on the battlefield earned him renown, and eventually, he founded his own Free Company, gathering a group of skilled and loyal adventurers dedicated to causes of justice and restoration.
A Hero's Homecoming: The Rescue and the Rebirth
After years of searching and battling, Pikachu and his Free Company staged a daring rescue operation, liberating Jiraiya and the other kidnapped Kojin. The reunion was joyful and marked a turning point for Pikachu. Jiraiya, ever proud of his adopted son's growth and accomplishments, chose to take up a permanent position as the welcoming face of Pikachu's Free Company headquarters. The other rescued Kojin also found a new home there, contributing to the community with their unique skills and knowledge.
Today, Pikachu Capritaurus is not only a hero known for his tactical acumen and magical prowess but also a respected novelist whose stories—inspired by his adventures and the cultures he’s encountered—captivate readers across Eorzea.
His home, thriving with the life and culture of the Kojin he saved, stands as a testament to his journey from a curious orphan to a leader and protector of his extended family and friends.

What are your responsibilities within the Free Company?

When i'm not actively playing ffxiv, I manage/up keep the discord, recruit in game, build out GruntsA, and manage the FC overall. When i'm active, all of the above plus join in for events and help guide newbies.
Favorite Role to Play (Tank, DPS, Healer) ?

DPS (Healer for some reason bores me, and i just haven’t gotten into tanking)
Availability or when you are generally online?

At the moment I'm not active, so reaching out to the other mods would be faster, but when I am, generally at night.
